Comments about RadioShack 0.5-Amp SPST Reed Relay at 12VDC: I use this when installing a Bluetooth adapter to new hybrid's radio. The Bluetooth adapter had a control signal, which when a call was active, outputted +12v. My radio had an input that needed to be grounded when a call was active. I simply wired the coil of this reed relay to the Bluetooth adapter, and the contact to the radio (with the other side of the contact to ground). Works great!!!
