This adapter is for my headset for my cell phone. I remember trying this piece out a year ago and the sound quality was not that great so I went with something else that worked great. Fast forward a year and I lost my old adapter. After being assured it would work, I bought it again and with the adapter the only way it works is to call without the headset in, once connected plug in the headset and then it works. However, the sound quality is terrible. I know it is not the headset's fault since I have been using that for over a year. Too bad - I really love Radio Shack and wanted this adapter to work.
