Its for 4 pin molex connectors only. Was hoping to use this to remove the power supply pins to sleeve the wires. Have to go back out and buy another tool. If the description had more information I wouldnt have bought it. The package also lacks information.

Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: I will let you get the stubborn pins out, The ones that cant be gotten with a plastic tool.

Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: This tool is a must-have if you deal with Molex or AMP pin and socket connectors. This is the only 0.093 extractor I've found that is all metal and at a great price. It can work with 0.084 pins if you are careful. PLEASE make this same tool for 0.084 and 0.062 sized pins!!
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: The pin extractor shown with the connecters is the wrong one. The pins are .125 dia and the extractor is for .092 pins. This was below the connectors and was reccomended to buy. So now I have a tool I can't use.
Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: I will be using it to quickly disconnect my Digitrax model railroad control system. It is very disappointing that there are no installation instructions. You could, at least, post instructions here on the web site.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: This is a great tool, IF USED PROPERLY!!!
Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: If you put together cables using Molex connectors, then sooner or later you will insert the wrong pin into the wrong hole. This makes it easy to get back out with no damage.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: This tool is useless. It works exactly like a mechanics pin punch. A pin punch costs half as much. A nail without the point will do the same job.
Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: Works fine on male and female pins. Just be sure to push it all the way on the pin before you press the pin extract button. Don't force the button if the pin doesn't come out. Just push it on again and it should work. The spring loaded models are better but more expensive.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack Pin Extractor: This actually worked perfectly fine for me, on both male and female pins. Also works for weatherpack connectors if you're careful.
