It was a good deal, worked instantly, and had pretty good sound quality. However, after using it for a few hours spread over several days, it stopped making sound and just sputtered if you listened to it closely. I tried to get it to work and sometimes it did, but after that it was fairly inconsistent and rare to have it actually work.

I am looking for a small replacement speaker. I was looking at the tech specs for a depth measurement when I noticed that English is the only supported language listed. Has anyone had success using this speaker with any other languages, specifically Ilacono?

Works well with an LM-386 audio amp.
But needs an enclosure or something behind it.
Suggest a 35 MM film can or a 2-3 inch length
of 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe to act as a resonator.

For [$], it works okay for mini-projects. Haven't run it much at rated power ( 0.1W ) but works fine at pulsed 9V, series with 470 ohm (555 output). Physically sturdy but no good mounting method. If Radio Shack would post specs needed to choose items (like power rating!) would buy more items.

Speaker has hi efficieny at 20mW drive. Just be sure not to exceed the 200mW maximum rating.

0.1 w really? not until you get to the store do you find this out. This item is weak and not worth using as a replacement. More of less from the shack. now I have to order on line from a real supplier.

Good product. Fit like a glove. It was a replacement speaker for my granddaughter's toy. I am a hero :<)
