I installed this on my MR.Tip-Up windlass ice fishing tip up.It came with an alert light thats powerd by a 9V battery.Everyone on the lake knows when I have a fish on.I have had no problems with the cold or water effecting it.Crazy LOUD.

I installed it inside a 4" PVC pipe at the end of 100 ft low voltage wire to be used to silence the neighbors barking dogs. Siren works great, low price, rugged for outside usage.

All I have to say is wow! This product is amazing!!! I hooked it up to a magnetic door alarm and everybody in the neighborhood know someones using our gate.

I placed three of these in a reaction ball,with a switch and a battery, threw it in my room when my freind was over and it scared the bejebers out of him.

When I was very young, I added one of these sirens to a pedal-powered go-kart. Somehow, it fell off, and I never saw it again.
Yesterday my dog was digging in the front yard. While I was filling the hole back in, I noticed the siren in the debris. I picked it up; water and dirt fell out of the slots, the screws were rusty, but when I hooked up a 9V battery, it worked as well as ever.
This item survived 5+ years underground, and still works fine. Additionally, it is quite loud, grabs attention, and with a little modification, an amplifier circuit, and a larger speaker, it can become a monster siren.

I used this siren for a beeper on my keyless entry system that didn't tell you if the doors locked or not. Easily wired in. Looks great, and you can't even tell there is anything there until you hit the lock button. Works well! Its only about an inch long or so, so it pretty much fits anywhere. It is extremely loud for its size and will surely draw attention if you make it part of your alarm system. Works great with automotive 12 volt DC and sounds great..... Would buy again if i needed to.
