The good news is, I can sleep easily knowing that even my grandchildren's grandchildren will never find themselves suffering for want of a 10pF capacitor.

The bad news is, I regularly find myself suffering for want of a .1 or .01 uF capacitor.

Only 9 different values and mostly 10pF by a long shot. Some have only 1 or 2 of that value.
Not a great buy.

I found it some what difficult to figure out the rating of each Capacitor due to the lack of value markings on each componet. There's no information sheet with the product telling the consumer what the ratings are for the capacitors in the package.

I think a 0.1 uF is fairly common. Being a beginner, I thought this would be a good purchase to get started. How wrong I was. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Oh well, lesson learned. But stay away. There are more useful variety packs out there. Don't make my mistake.

Looks like they had a stockpile of useless caps... and some genius bean counter said "I have a great idea"!
The bag should be labeled with what is in there...I feel ripped off.

As others mentioned, the cap values are very low, and most of them are the same low value... not much of an "assortment". I'm not sure what I would ever need 60 x 10pF caps for.

The other reviews cover the issue well, but I figured I'd write a review to lower the star rating some more.

This is not an assortment. It's 60+ 10pF caps, with some "noise" thrown in. Only one cap in the more useful range of nF.

I came across one of these bags in a store and I thought it was a good deal, until I got home and opened it.
Mostly 10pF capacitors (probably 60 of them), about 10 x 1pF , a couple of 7 pF and 15pF (to me, values below 20pF are completely useless).

Now, for the "higher"values:
5 x 68pF
6 x 150pF
5 x 220pF
5 x 560pF

And the only one I will use for sure:
1 x 10nF

So I paid like 5.5 dollars for one useful (to me) ceramic capacitor. If I had chosen them one by one I could have got over 8 useful capacitors for that money.
