Comments about RadioShack 100pF 50V 10% Hi-Q Ceramic Disc Capacitor:

Always need good (resistant to 40w soldering iron needed for potentiometer work) caps of this value for a perfect treble bleed circuit on audio-taper guitar volume pots. Used alone, the bleed just enough treble through when decreasing volume, as to counteract the resistance in the guitar cable, which results in the gradual roll-off of high frequencies with the volume. These have no audible effect on tone, but remedy the problem. For linear-taper potentiometers, use a 100k resistor in parallel to make the taper equal to the treble bleed for "invisible" performance (noticeable in their absence from the circuit, not in presence). Great little caps for sure.
