Comments about RadioShack 8-Ohm Non-Inductive Resistor: Radios shack has it all. One of the building blocks for my latest project- the flux capacitor. Just picked the biggest caps (NTE SI680M450 680MFD 450V Snap-In Electolytic Capacitor) they have along with a bit of flux and this resistor (you need 3 in series.) and back to the future we go.

Comments about RadioShack 8-Ohm Non-Inductive Resistor: This baby was a gift for my 50th birthday from my brother. He is a high engery particle researcher, so he really knows what's what. Not only does this device resist the flow of electrons, but its ceramic case also completely blocks photons up to 2.1 eV! How sweet is that?! I never go anywhere without it. Thanks Radio Shack!

Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 8-Ohm Non-Inductive Resistor: I got some add on tweeters for the car stereo speakers. They were way too loud. Even with an 8 ohm resistor wired in series, they were still too loud. So I used 2 of them per tweeter for a 16 ohm load. They sound great and have been working for 2 years.

Comments about RadioShack 8-Ohm Non-Inductive Resistor: This resistor is awesome! It really resists. I think it does it better because it's square. Definitely helps limit the flow of electricity in my projects.
