Have used these fuses for 20+ years. They have held up well in devices used outdoors with small rubber O-ring inserted inside screw cap to make them water resistant. Only problem is the odd cross-slot screw driver cap. It looks like a Phillips but is actually a crossed standard slot. If you use a Phillips screwdriver it can eventually strip out the cap over time.

don't worry about its cap appearing loose, once fuse in place, it fits snugly. initially it freaked me out.

My cordless battery charger got smoked on a house under constuction when,two of my bosses carpentermen showed up. Myself and another employee had been charging our battery's all week on a generator. Sure probably not the best thing to do but had no trouble till they were both running saw's at the same time. Smoked his charger and mine. Fixed mine first to see if this would work, it did. So today I got another fuse holder and fixed his for him. Called him tonight to tell him he can save his [$] for new charger for something else were both very Happy Thank you.

Standard fuse holders would be 0.5" wide mounting. this is larger than that, either panel needs to be widened, or this will not work for you. Buy a real Littlefuse one from a place that really sells electronic parts.
