These are the best 9V battery hats around. They are durable and easy to take on and off unlike the soft plastic type. They could discount them in quantity, but it seems they have all but gotten out of the parts supplier gig. I would suggest that they increase their online inventory for us nerds that still want a local electronics store. They are still a good value if you are buying less than 100.

BEWARE: The wiring on these breaks very easily. I had to re- soldier several times. It seemed that anytime I moved the battery it would break off. Especially unfortunate since the battery connection is the part of the project that moves the most after completion.

2 to replace weak ends in Metal detector when OE breaks (& they will) & rest I use to protect terminals on backup batteries to prevent shorted terminals, At least until I may need them for replacement again.

I bought these for a project to extend the reach of a 9v battery hook-up The colored wires were backwards on one and correct on the other. Small but annoying mistake.

The perfect clip to replace those weeny and weak clips that come on most gear. Downside is the plastic housing is large and might not fit in some spaces.

This model is better for frequent battery changes. Better than the other flimsy versions out there.
