Comments about RadioShack Adjustable 48" Fiberglass Whip Element for CB Antenna:

The antenna SWR levels come in just under 3.0 because the tip of the antenna (the rubber cover did but not the actual adjustable part) didn't actually come with the product. Since I paid in cash and lost my receipt, I am out of luck. I can't find a place to buy a new tip so it will have to make due. Range is about 1/2 a mile un-tuned.

I had other well known antennas Im sure you know the ones. One even had a ground plane kit on my truck I put this one in the middle of my trunk on my work car with a mirror mount stud thought the double wall part for strength and this one works just as good if not better no complaints here. The tuning was easy had it done in 5 minutes the SWR wont even move the needle on channel 20 with 1 & 40 just moving off the 0. Can talk to people 30 miles away stock radio and there is no I repeat no ground noise. So it has great ears. LOL

The best Antenna that radio shack has for cbs with this antenna i can hear all the truckers and anybody on the air in all channel very good. this is a very very good antenna for truck vans or truckers and a good thing is that it can be adjusted at base to fine tuned it to all channel you want. and i was talking on my cb all day with this antenna and every body is telling me that they can hear me very good and strong with this antenna. and with a chrome plated spring you get a very good 52.13" inch off antenna p.s. get this antenna now its a very good ant and a very good price Thank you Joe
