Stop at your local hardware store on the way home from getting this antenna, and grab some lag bolts that are 1" longer, and if possible slightly thicker. Make sure they'll still fit in the holes in the mount.

The ones you get w/ the mount are complete trash. Mine pulled a little from the house in 50mph winds. Has a 1lb wifi antenna on it. I'm using this mount in a line-of-sight application, and im having to guy the mast w/ paracord.

I installed these to mount a very lightweight 17 foot tall ham antenna on a 10 foot mast. After 2 windy days I can now go up there and shift the mast, angling it back & forth. The hardware that clamps them on the mast can't be tightened any more, and the lag bolts supplied weren't long enough for safe application to my house built in 1930. I had a set of these in the 80s and they were much thicker gauge and higher quality.

This is a wall mount I bought to allow me to attach an antenna mast alongside of my house, allowing me to stay clear of the eves. The mount is purposeful in design, came with lag bolts that saved a trip to the hardware store. Included also were some simple instructions and set up was quick and easy, my antenna was attached in less than 30 minutes.

I have used similar products before, and after some 10 years plus, surviving Michigan winters, the old mounts are performing well, which is why I sought these out for my new application.

Out of the box, the mounts look flimsy, but once attached properly to the wall and mast, make for a very strong and durable set up. The mounts are homely and functional, made of steel with shiny zinc coating, but you can apply paint to blend it into the house colors if desired.

I installed these brackets for a clients FM antennae and we both loved the way they look, strength and versatility.

For the price of this product, and considering that it is designed to be used outdoors, it should be made of a more corrosion proof material such as titanium. Galvanized steel is a ferrous material and as such is subject to rust and corrosion.

Very good design, I did not use it to put a tv antenna up, but i did use it to put up a an 18 foot high cb/ham radio antenna. It held it very securly and that night the wind reached about 40 mph and the antenna mount did not even twitch. Would highly recommend
