Cons Best Uses Comments about RadioShack 100-Ft. 16-Gauge Brown 2-Conductor Speaker Wire: I had purchased 100 feet of speaker wire at a home improvement store before realizing it was not certified for in-wall use. Had trouble finding any CL-2 or CL-3 wiring at a modest price point until I found this product at Radio Shack. The package clearly stated it was UL certified and is approved for in-wall use. Wish the Radio Shack website had been as informative and I would have saved myself some time searching. Pros

Comments about RadioShack 100-Ft. 16-Gauge Brown 2-Conductor Speaker Wire: I have been using this wire for over 20 years. The last thing I did was run wire for outdoor "rock" speakers. The line was buried underground and ran for over 40 feet. This was five years ago and I never had a problem. I just purchased 400 feet of wire for the same reason, to run four outdoor rock speakers in my new house. Pros

Comments about RadioShack 100-Ft. 16-Gauge Brown 2-Conductor Speaker Wire: Great for home theater, i bought it at my radioshack, and they also had it in white instead of brown, witch works really well with my room, because it doesn't stand out like the brown would. You don't have to buy a really expensive cable for high quality, this will do the same because its a 16 gauge which is the same kind they use in Imax theaters. Pros

Comments about RadioShack 100-Ft. 16-Gauge Brown 2-Conductor Speaker Wire: Don't buy the hype of the 'name branded' cables unless you've got a truely top notch system that can put out the wide range of highs and low. Most systems will work great with this stuff. Keep your runs under 100 feet. Displaying reviews 1-6 |
