                  Comments about RadioShack Infrared Phototransistor:

Need to confirm IR waveform and needed some sort of detector. This was the only one I could find (several similar components were reported in stock by the store computer).

Cross reference to other components with similar specifications would be great!

                        Comments about RadioShack Infrared Phototransistor:

I used this for an IR trip sensor. It worked well. The packaging didn't provide any specifications (other than the pinout), but I assume that they are the same as the Emitter/Detector pair, which does have specs printed on the back of the packaging.

                              Comments about RadioShack Infrared Phototransistor:

Using this device for a machine part motion detector. There is no data on max power dissipation, or any of the technical data provide for part 276-142, Infrared Emitter and Detector pair.

What is max. collector current, 10 ma, 20 ma, 50 ma, 60 ma?

How does this part compare with the phototransistor in part number 276-142? Why is it more expensive than part # 276-142?

These work great for a beam bot head but i don't know if it will work for a motion detector, but i'm sure it will though.
