Great phone, man!
I recently switched to Virgin Mobile from AT&T (iPhone 3GS) and tried other VM budget smartphones like Optimus Elite and PCD Chaser but they felt really cheap and outdated. They also ran an ancient version of Android 2.3 which is not even supported by many new apps anymore.
For only $10 more, this phone features a lot more slick and modern design, and the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is flawless and actually makes this phone feel like a part of new generation unlike those other phones.

Took WAY too long [2 hrs] to transfer my old phone - RadioShack needs to fix procedures. Then, all done, I go home, try all the things I've never had [text, web] before - THEN try 'the phone', and the mic does not work. NO ONE can HEAR me! TWO MORE HOURS next day to swap [over an hour of that was THEM waiting for "Tech Support" to ANSWER! I had a clearly BROKEN PHONE but they still had to mess with SuperSlow Support to swap it out.] Since then [3 days] it has worked fine, battery lasting about all day.

Complaint is that 'background apps' keep restarting, so wasting power.

I like the "voice to text" feature - "swyping" is better than thumbs on keyboard, but speaking is even better. All the savings of texting [unlimited data] but still send complete sentences.

So far, I can recommend it -- will see after a few weeks if that changes.
