Comments about Memorex® Memorex 8x Slim DVD Burner:
I found this product through the Radioshack website, where it is clearly listed as having LightScribe (Memorex 8x Slim DVD Burner with LightScribe) and used the website to find it in a nearby store. The shelf label also listed it as LightScribe. Only the original version of this drive had LightScribe capabilities. The one on shelves now does not. As the only reason I bought it was for the LS capabilities, it has turned into a huge waste of time and energy.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
