I've always had Boost Mobile phones. This is my third one. The only issue is I downgraded to 3G (HTC EVO was my previous).The LG Venice is the best one for music. I look at alot of YouTube. It limits your data after 2 Gigs and slows down the speed. You tube will freeze up then play again.

All around a good phone. I am very pleased with it so far. Battery life is a bit short, but most Android phones that I have had are the same way.

I wanted a new phone with a LARGE screen, but phones such as the Samsung S II seemed too heavy and too bulky to fit in the front pocket of my jeans.

The LG Venice was perfect: a large screen in a slim, light body. I was surprised at what a BIG upgrade the Venice is over my prior phone. The large screen makes reading the news or watching a movie on Netflix a pleasure.

The Venice has the power to handle all of my apps smoothly, but I don't use it for games...I suspect it does not have the power for demanding 3D action games.

The Venice gets both a stronger 3G signal and a stronger wifi signal than my prior phone. No more "dead zones" without a signal, such as near the refrigerator in the kitchen.

I use power control widgets to turn OFF 3g, wifi, gps, and bluetooth except when I actually am using them. I keep the screen dialed to about 30% indoors and 80% outdoors. I turn on wifi a few times a day to download Gmail and check the news and weather, then I turn 3g off. As a result, the Venice gives me 24 hours on a charge.

However, Netflix and GPS will drain any battery rapidly. If I use Netflix on Wifi or GPS on 3g for a hour or two, the Venice needs an hour or so of charging to get the battery back up to the 70% or 80% level I like to be at during the day.

Bottom line: the LG Venice is the rare "big screen" phone slim enough to fit into your jean's pocket, with the power to handle most popular apps, and "lock on" to 3g and wifi when you want to use the internet. Getting up to 24 hours on a battery charge is a bonus.

I got this as an early Christmas present and I love it! Wanted a no-contract phone and honestly wanted a sam...galx ii or iii for the large screen...but didn't want the non-contract price....came across this one and with the screen only a couple inches smaller I couldn't beat it for the price! And as I said I love it! If I had a con it would be case choices but I'm sure that's gonna change soon! If u want a large screen phone with the bells and whistles but not the price this is the one to get!!!

I got this for an early Christmas present and I love it it's real easy to use and I always wanted a big phone so I was glad to finally have one. The only thing I dislike is the Wifi when I turn it off it still keeps turning on by itself which runs my battery but other than that...Great service just great everything! My best phone yet!
