I was in Radio Shack for something else and I saw this on sale. I had seen a similar one at a friend's house but it cost 4x as much! I'm very happy with the sound and the related iPhone app. I did use the equalizer on the app to turn everything up to the top of the scale. Very big sound!

I like the product but I am disappointed by the range of the Bluetooth signal. My experience is that outside of about 17 to 20 feet the sound starts cutting out. So if you carry your phone in your pocket and wander about a room, you will probably be annoyed by dropouts. If you leave your phone next to the speaker, it will work fine.
I do not know if this is the case for all Bluetooth speakers, as other than my automobiles which both have Bluetooth capable systems, this is my only separate Bluetooth speaker.

Got this baby to listen to music on the beach with my cell phone. It works great, has great sound and bass. The battery lasts forever. I swear I've had it for a month and charged it only once with frequent use.

I compared this to the Jawbone and don't see any difference. I love the speakerphone option, my callers say they can hear me as clear as a bell. I bought this speaker so I could bring a much more full sound with me when I go to the park or just decide to sit on my porch. It's so good I bought one for my son who's in college. Yes, he likes it too!

I bought this the other day as a gift for my mother. She has always wanted the Jambox from Jawbone, and I just have to say that this is just as easy to use and just as loud at half the cost. I got to use it for about 2 days before I gave it as a gift and now I want my own. The best things about this is it makes videos louder and clearer on any tablet. It also has about a 30 to 50 foot range that lets you place it in the best place. And its completely portable so you can carry it around and listen to it.

This is easily one of the best tech purchases I have made in a while. I listen to music ALL THE TIME, and its nice to have the portability. Head phones are not appropriate in my work environment so this is perfect.

i am using this just to listen to music basically. it is perfect for personal use, but it also is incredibly useful for adding background music to an area. due to the volume control available on it, it is pretty simple to do so. connecting is a breeze, the instruction manual is easy to understand and comprehend. the sound quality is also creamy. it has smooth tones not too much emphasis on bass like other speakers in this category, but just enough to let you know it is there. overall great product. the only reason for the 4 star rating is that it sometimes crackles when i change songs. i don't know whether this is my phone's problem (being a windows phone and not officially supported), or the speaker's. still this is only seldom and even then not a big deal.
