Be careful that you don't get one missing parts. One of the reviewers noted they were missing several jumpers, I'm missing all of the ceramic capacitors in mine.

I purchased this kit so I could start playing with my new Raspberry Pi. It has a lot of what you'll need to get started with prototyping, and really nothing is specific to the Arduino.

All of the jumpers are malemale, so I also grabbed a set of femalefemale jumpers and a 40-pin header (Part #276-0151). With that, I can map the GPIO directly to the first 13 rows of the breadboard and go to town.

The only negative is that the components are undocumented. I'm getting ready to tinker with the servo, and I don't even have a part number to work with.

I got ten 10 inch multi-colored breadboard-wire, and many 4 inch breadboard wire. Using this kit with the STK500 via expansion slots makes this kit nice. Would be better if it came with some female hookup wire; the plugs can probably be pulled out though.

Wish there came a manual for the sensors.

The breadboard it comes with is super cool looking.

This is repack of a kit from Seeedstudio. Nice lille case for storage, a good assortment of wires, buttons, switches and other smaller parts used for prototyping or small arduino projects. The only negative is the box is not sealed. The other reviewer mentioned he only recevied 10 of the 50 jumper wires. So when buying in the store I would check the contents to make sure nothing is missing.

The kit advertises 50 wires included but instead it only includes 10 jumper wires. 2 white, 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 black and 2 red.

Not enough. Misleading advertising.
