The Pantech Caper is a standard messaging phone that would be a better value if it was not priced as it was. The qwerty keypad is small and takes some getting used to, the battery life is decent, and call qaulity is pretty good. However, the camera is substandard (with no video capabilities) and the phone lacks what comes standard in most phones of this price range - meaning this phone has no mp3 player or video player or microSD card slot. The mobile web browser is also one of the worst I've ever seen. The phone is lightweight, and if all you are looking for is a basic messaging phone and nothing else, this phone will suit you just fine.

if you only need to call or texts ppl this is ur kind of phone...web is good but yea very slow sumtimes... it needs a droid affect tho....where u can get apps for this kind of phones... i like it...but i likethe droid affect...lol well its a good kind of phone for teens and ppl who aint web smart..lol but other then that its a good phone....

The phone over all is not bad. I am coming from a Blackberry 9310 from another prepaid company. You can only take so many dropped calls. This phone has great service. Great for texting and calling. The web is very slow but will get the job done if needed. The 1.3 mp cam is not good at all. Guess it all depends on your lighting. If you are looking for a smart phone...walk away from this one but if you need something good for talking and texting. Don't pass this one up.
