Experience the world of programmable robots with the Parallax Scribbler 2. Powered by Parallax's Propeller chip, a multicore processor ideal for robotics, the open source and user hackable S2™ should have everyone from beginners to experienced users excited and experimenting right out of the box.

  • Fully assembled robot is pre-programmed with 8 demo modes, including line-following & light-seeking
  • Custom programs can be built using either a graphics-based GUI or text-based code editor
  • Place a marker in the pen port and the Scribbler will draw as it drives
  • Features 3 light sensors, 2 obstacle avoidance sensors and 2 line following sensors
  • 2 independent DC motors drive the wheels
  • Built-in speaker enables it to play a wide range of sounds and musical notes
  • Built-in microphone allows it to detect tones from other S2 robots
  • Hacker port for connection to external sensors, RF devices and servos

You'll also need

  • "AAA" batteries (6)
  • A USB to Serial Adapter and USB A to Mini B cable or DB-9 Serial cable is required to program the Scribbler 2.
