The LG Extravert is Verizon's first official prepaid touchscreen phone, and is very similar to other entry-level, non-android touchscreens from LG on other networks (such as the LG Prime on AT&T or LG800g on Tracfone), with the addition of a slideout qwerty keybpard. The back of the phone is textured, but is very slippery and it is easy to drop the phone. It packs a 2.0 megapixel camera and video recorder, sd card slot and music player, as well as add-on options such as navigation and mobile email. It comes with Opera Mini built in as its web browser, and is pretty speedy for 1X data. One thing to note is that the touchscreen is resistive, so it requires a bit of pressure for the screen to react, unlike android phones. It is a decent, if not feature-heavy, phone with a loud earpiece, loud ringtones, and middling to subpar battery life. Works well with the $50 unlimited plan.

This was an amazing phone and to me, a very good price for a phone like this. It was very responsive and pretty fast. I also love the look of the phone. This phone will be useful to younger people like me. I love this phone!
