I had an earlier version of the SanDisc 2gb and replaced it with this model. Much longer battery life and works with no problems. I run the player through a stereo on my golf cart and I have not had any issues with the unit. I like it so much I am buying another to give to a friend for his birthday. Also, this unit is very easy to download.

First one just quit after 90 days . Second one same after 3 weeks . Third one short in headphone outlet as soon as battery was charged . Fourth one same as number three.
Problem is you never know if they work till 24 hour charge on battery . And then the trip after trip back to store .
Warranty only good for credit with Radio Shack and they float your money for a week while they send you a card in the mail.

Display darkens over time till unreadable
Bought 3 units, only one has acceptable fm reception

I HAD WELL OVER 20 GIGS OF MUSIC, AND NEEDED SOMETHING INEXPENSIVE TO STORE THEM ALL! THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED! THE CUSTOMIZABLE EQUALIZER IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I AM A FAN OF SANSA ONCE AGAIN! I LOVE THE FACT THAT IT SWITCHES THROUGH SEVERAL DIFFERENT COLOR/STYLE SCREENS AS YOU SWITCH TROUGH DIFFERENT TRACKS THAT DO NOT SHOW AN ALBUM COVER! IT EVEN HANDLES A 32 GIG SD CARD! THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO THIS THING IS THAT MY HANDS ARE HUGE IN COMPARISON TO IT!

I love the 4 GB Sansa clip. I also have the two GB Sansa Clip and they are both working great. I use the two GB in the car and the 4GB for everything else: exercise, travel, walking etc. The sansa 4gb lets you play your music by favorites, randomly, newest songs, or by artist and type. The memory is expandable with a Micro sd card. I purchased the extended protection, but I have had no problems in the two years I have owned both players. The build quality seems a bit less than it should be, but the player holds up very well in all types of uses.

I just recently purchased this "Sansa 4GB" mp3, within the second month the back screen started to fade away. Used the clip often, it broke off. Sound port started to default, music wasn't equally outputting on headphones. I had an older 2BG one, it lasted me 2 years! Only thing good about the new ones, are battery life. If you decide to buy this MP3, get a WARRANTY! It will fail withing 1-60 days.

For the $$$ this little player is great. Easy to use, and sounds great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. There many out there in the market, this one stands up with the top dollar ones.
