          I've had 2 and both failed...2nd one corrupt a Sandisk 32gb Extreme III CF card. I've never had a reader corrupt a card before...junk.

            I just purchased this product and couldn't be happier with it. I own an old Kodak digital camera, but its software doesn't "talk" to my new computer. I was at a loss - would I need to buy a new camera?

            Then a friend suggested this little gizmo to me, and told me Radio Shack carried them. I was sort of skeptical until it came - especially because of some of the unfavorable reviews I read on this site.

            I plugged it into my computer, inserted the camera's memory card in the appropriate slot - and like magic, my photos transferred immediately.

            The only possible drawback I can think of (which is why I rated it only 4 out of 5 stars) is that the little pins that plug into the camera's memory card seem pretty weak. I can see how one false move could bend them easily. Knowing this, however, I will be extra careful handling it.
