Comments about ETON American Red Cross Axis Hand-Crank AM/FM/NOAA Radio:

I was very disappointed in this unit and returned it in exchange for the RadioShack® SAME Weather Radio. This radio turns out to be nothing more than an expensive LED flashlight. The reception of NOAA signals was poor. No use of SAME codes that I could find. The package says it can be used with AC but you have to buy another AC-to-USB adapter to use AC. My recommendation is to buy the RadioShack® SAME Weather Radio for home use. This unit might be useful for camping and as a way to charge your cell phone while camping.
