A good device that I can reliably watch Netflix and Hulu on. Pandora is a great app on it as well. Newly added was the changeable background, which I love. 10/10

We run ours often and it has been both reliable and worth the investment. No problems with the wireless either.
Cable runs about $100/month where I live (Not including premium channels, that's just basic). So Hulu plus and Netflix are almost necessities which cost a whopping $16.00 per month.
It would be nice if Roku and CBS and a few other networks could come to some sort of arrangement, much like Hulu.
Overall, it's worth the expense.
As a player from the USB port, is somewhat limited as it won't play avi format.
We're happy with ours and have recommended it.

I love this box. I cut hte cord on cable and bought this box and a hdtv antenna for local channels. I bought a Playon.tv lifetime license for $40 to stream a bunch of cool free channels and also subscribe to netflix streaming. Basically now I pay abour $10 a month and get a 100 times more channels and things to watch than basic cable offered.

I bought this model because playon.tv has to be downloaded to a pc and then the Roku box accesses the PLayon.tv channels via a router that both are connceted to. Playon offers Nick at night, tv land and even HBO.

i own 2 roku ,,, and everyone should get one for there flatscreen tv ,, why pay for expencive cable or satelite ,, when you have hundreds of movies free in this little box ,, plus local radio stations and games .....and more . .... try it out.. so easy to hook up as long as you have wifi ........... i got mine at [@] for [$] make sure there is a HDMI cord hooked to your tv please ..... .. have a good day .

I like it. It is an alternative to cable and network TV. If offers things that gear to my tastes while also having items that gear to tastes of those who visit. I like foreign news, documentaries, foreign shows. It you are not your traditional cable person (and I am not), you may really enjoy the product.

I bought the Roku to replace my satallite system. It was very easy to setup, it only took a few minutes. I have been using it for a several months now, and have had several problems with it. Sometimes it acts like my internet connection is slow, but when I run a speed test it is fine. It randomly just shuts off and reboots for no apparent reason. If I add a channel and then go to remove it , sometimes it still shows up on the main menu screen. Then the next time I use the Roku it will be gone. I don't even use it much anymore, I just use my XBOX 360 instead. The apps work much better on the XBOX, however there are still a few channels that I still use on the Roku. I regret buying it and would not recommend it to anyone.

Bought this to add Netflix, Hulu Plus, and basic Internet features to 32" bedroom TV. Setup was super simple and took approx 25 mins (plugged it in, put in my wireless password, used laptop to setup account, it auto downloaded update, and we're good to go). Love that it has other connection options (including ethernet and SD card). Unit is responsive and no issues with buffering. Initally shopped for Internet-enabled TV but this was a great buy and gave me the same functions for a lot less. I had also considered upgrading to a wi-fi blu-ray player but, just kept coming back to the features/options available on Roku for about the same price difference. Remote buttons are laid out well and intuitive; easy to use. I considered downloading iPhone & iPad remotes for this unit on iTunes but, I found I really like the remote it came with. I read reviews on other streaming media players as I was shopping and this device is head and shoulders above others in this price range and beyond. Radio Shack employees are always helpful and I am very satisfied with this purchase from them.

wanted to put box in BR, poor pix compared to XR
in den,cc useless, unless you want the game or must have ethernet a waste of money. roku stated box ng returned for XD box which worked great. radio shack replaced with great service.
