Comments about RadioShack® Lightweight Stereo Headphones:

I should have known better, after all they're very inexpensive. The thing is that there was a point in time when "portable" kind of headphones under the Radio Shack/Realistic brand were built by Koss, so I thought they'd be at least ok, I was wrong. You get what you pay for.
The problem? These things sound awful. We're talking those old transistor radio earphones you put into your ear bad. They have the frequency range of a bullhorn..a tinny squawk. You can do much, much better for just a little more.

Comments about RadioShack® Lightweight Stereo Headphones:

Bought these to use on my pc, they worked wonderfully for the first month, but one day when unplugging(my pc has front facing audio jack)the jack slipped out of the rubber housing and exposed the wiring, i pushed it back together and went about my business no problems. My sister-in-law borrowed them to use with iphone, and brought them home completely broken(jack loose from housing). I did purchase the service plan(13$ Tax included) So, im going to have them replaced in the morning. I cannot say anything bad about these other than the jack is easy to break, but taken care of, and lightly used for pc or portable audio you cannot beat the sound, bass, and comfort.

After 1st use, plug got stuck in the outlet of IPAD. Tried to exchange and clerk at RS would'nt let me because I did not have a service plan. These headphones are made though like crp, think of them as use once and be ready to throw away.

Comments about RadioShack® Lightweight Stereo Headphones:

I bought these for my son at the same time I bought myself a pair of Skullcandy's...and I actually preferred the Radio Shack brand to the Skullcandy. I ended up taking them back, but keeping these.
Exceptional value for the price. Really clear sound and I was amazed at the bass these little headphones can pump out.

Comments about RadioShack® Lightweight Stereo Headphones:

I purchased two for my kids to use on the subway with their portable games. After three uses the metal part of the plug on one just broke off. And I was told that the warranty (which I almost NEVER purchase) only covers mechanical problems which, apparently, a piece falling off is not. I've had bad luck with Radio Shack before, but this is end. I am DONE with them.
