Only complaint would be the volume, you can only hear it ring in the room where the phone is, not in another room with a TV on.

I've had this phone almost 1 1/2 years and have had no problems at all. Overall, it's been a great phone for the price and features.

I got this phone as a quick fill-in when my other phones were damaged by a power surge. I was very careful to keep this one unplugged except when I was actually using it. I had it 10 days, plugged it in to use it and it wouldn't power up on the base. 10 days, that's it. And very little use in that period of time. Don't waste your money or time with this one. VTech used to be a great company, not so now I guess.

The price is right, but it lacks a headset jack. How difficult would it have been to put one in?

The volume on this phone is so horrible. You cannot hear anyone out of it.

Radio Shack tech specs on this unit says that it has speakerphone. It doesn't. I checked with VTech.
