      • Doesn't Save Disc Image
      • Only One Copy At A Time

      Best Uses

      • Save Family Memories

Comments about Toshiba® DR430 DVD Recorder:

This product is great. It was a present for my Mom for Christmas so she could convert all of our old family VHS tapes to DVD. It does a great job with good quality, and allows you to set video quality so you can fit 6+ hours onto one DVD. It also is an upconverter, so the TV and older DVDs look much better through this players HDMI than through the composite on Mom's old DVD player.

Downsides: There is not, or I have yet to locate a disc image storage, so that I only have to record once and then can make multiple copies. I have to take the original disc and use my computer to create multiple copies. It would be great for this player to at least have memory to store one disc so you can make multiple copies for family members. If my mom had to do it, she'd have to watch all 6 hours of video per copy.

If it had a built in tuner, it would be perfect.
I use it with a Digital Stream converter box and rabbit ears antenna.

Comments about Toshiba® DR430 DVD Recorder:

              REVIEW:
I ordered this and when did a test on the recording is the 8 Hours was grainy, the 6 Hours was fair, the 4 Hours was good, the 2 Hours was great, the 1 Hours (Love This Speed) was excellent!. The best input to use is the HDMI on 1080i. I just wish it had a tuner.
              OVERVIEW:
I think it's really good for playing dvd and I also think that the recording is great if it's on the 1 Hour and 2 Hour modes.
