The previous batteries were 23A and they fit and worked fine. This Enercell doesn't work because it's too short. The body is the same length as the old one, but the negative electrode is recessed slightly, making the distance between the electrodes shorter than it should be. It doesn't reliably make contact, and it falls out with even the slightest bump or motion. I don't know if they're all like this or if it was just a defect, but I suspect it's a design issue because both of the batteries in the pack are short. I will be returning them.
