Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: This sucks. Don'e wait for an emergency to find out it doens't work. My cell phone, Iphone 4s, lost power twice and it never worked. The first time, I thought maybe the batteries had gone bad. So i replaced them. I just had my phone go dead again and it didn't work. I get a green light, all the connections are tight and nothing happens. This is a big waste of money.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: Did not work. Bought this this afternoon and it worked for 5 seconds then stopped charging. Tried numerous times. Followed directions enclosed. Did not make a difference.

Best Uses Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: Purchased one of these chargers thinking i found something great for my iphone. First time I pluged it in the phone charged for 1 minute and stopped charging. I returned the first one and exchaged for another. This one did the same thing.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: Before buying this, look at the ratings on the wall charger that came with your device. If the charger can output more than 500mA, chances are your device will draw so much power that this emergency charger will shut down.

Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: When I tried to charge my iphone 4G the AA batteries seemed to heat up very quickly and the recharging kept stopping. I tried three sets of batteries and could not get the phone fully charged. I don't know what the problem is - either recharging drains the AA batteries very quickly (how many AA's does it take to recharge a phone) or there is something wrong with the recharging mechanism. It made a connection but then would cut out in about 5 seconds. Very frustrating.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: Need to purchase a short extension cable to use with kodak video camera then just rubberband it behind the included iphone cable. Works awesome with rechargeable batteries. Who would ever want to afford wasting non rechargeable batteries to charge another battery, lol. Plus rechargeable batteries are usually 5 times better life then regular.

Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: I took this out on a backpack trip. It charged consistently my ipod 120gb classic, blackberry flip and a evo shift. It worked best on the iPod and always needed fresh batteries for the phones. All in all for emergency power this was a nice item to have in my pack. I searched all over and for the price this was by far the best value for an item that actually charges devices.

Comments about Enercell® Emergency USB Charger: Used this on a week-long bicycle tour with a mini-usb gps, micro-usb cell phone, and ipod touch v3. It worked great will all devices. I needed about one set of NiMH AA's per device, but it charged the devices completely. Last charger I had like this worked only with throw-away batteries so this is major improvement. I recharged the NiMH batteries with a 15min charger so I spent much less time at the outlet and the device could charge in my pack or tent.
