To date, I have NEVER see ANY battery that holds 100% charge for 2weeks. I had a PowerMat portable power which was basically useless, it would extend use of my Moto Droid, but could never recharge it.

The Zagg, I leave it plugged into an outlet w/ a charging tether for my phone my phone when I'm at that location. There are 2 locations at my house that I keep my phone plugged in while at home as I text, phone, read books a lot. Every once in a while I cycle the Zagg, by totally discharging it. It will TOTALLY recharge my Droid 4 x's from the alarm @ 5% battery life left to charging the phone to 100%. I've not seen anything better out there except a huge battery for camping that allows 100's of recharges.

I considered buying online, but I HIGHLY recommend buying at RadioShack near you, as the weight and constant carrying and use, they'll replace it w/o question if something breaks. I was in a rush and hurriedly pulled it out from an outlet and one of the prongs broke off. For a little over $10, it was replaced....it would just cost more trying to ship it somewhere to replace it.

I charged my first one and let it sit for about a month and never used it during that time. When I did check it with the lights, it was down to 50%, recharged it and let it sit for a couple more week with no use on it, same thing down to about 50% again. Decided to register it and request a replacement. Got it when they said I should get it; same problem with the replacement, not a happy camper! When I did contact them and this is part of what it said.
"Your ZAGGsparq if not used will decrease 2% per day. Usually if you do not use the ZAGGsparq at all after a month it will be drained. that is normal for a ZAGGsparq. "
I always thought the type of battery that is used in this device should have a long shelf life.

I charged the unit for 24 hours and it only showed 2 lights which indicated it was 50% charged. I then charged a Motoral Atrix android phone and it brought it up to 80% but no higher. Upon completion, the Zagg was down to 0% charge. The box says 4 charges guaranteed.

I tried again and charged it for another 24 hours and it still never reached above 50% charge. It's going back.

I use this for back-up power when I can't be in one area for power. It helps in situations where I have to move around a lot, or don't feel like leaving my electronics behind. I love the 4 full charges I get out of it.
