I live in a rural area and usually get liitle or no cell signal in the house. After installing this product (antenna mounted outside)I get great signal any where from 3 to 5 bars.

Got zero reception in metal shop and now get four bars. Reception outside is marginal. Now I go inside to make calls. Thinking seriously abot getting another for the house. A truly great product.

I installed the antenna on a 10 ft pipe and mounted it above the roof line of the house connected the base unit as per instructions and its works great. I couldn't make a call from inside the house before at all now I can!!!!

I work in a steel building all day, I had no signal before I installed it. After I installed the booster I have 4-5 bars. My steel building is 40 feet wide and 50 feet long.

bought this unit to replace my old one. the old one was taken out by thunderstorm. the new unit works as good as the old.with the old unit I upgraded to a better antenna that radio shack sells , as I live on the fringe of our cell phone service. the new unit works well with this setup. my computer is conected to the wireless broadband, and the booster makes it work all that much faster.one reviewer should look into the better antenna .

I live in rural MN and have tried mounting the antenna in various locations on the roof with no luck. If I stand outside without the use of the booster, I get 1-2 bars and sometimes things like facebook will load. Inside the house with the use of the booster, I get 1-2 bars and facebook never loads and most calls are never received. My phone just beeps telling me I have a new voice mail. I had high hopes for this product based on reviews I've read. Does anyone have any tips for me? Would a higher end coaxial cable help?

We currently live in the flood affected area of the Missouri River bottoms. While our home is just high enough to be above the flood waters, our land line phone runs under the water and is shorted out. Cell phone service is very poor with 1 bar or less on most days. Because our land line may be out of service for up to one year, we have no 911 emergency service either. We decided to purchase this product and give it a try. I extended my 40 ladder on both the front and rear of the home and located my best cell signal. I then installed the antenna on a piece of 1 1/4" pvc pipe and attached it to the gable with the antenna 2 1/2' above the roof line. I drilled a hole through the house and ran the cable to the base and mounted it in a central location in the living area. Our home has an open floorplan so we have unobstructed signal. I can now send and receive calls from the house and have the piece of mind knowing we now have access to emergency services again. I wish the signal was consistantly stronger but this product has given us the ability to touch the outside world again. [...]

Wife and I have 2nd home in N.Myrtle Beach and Sprint Phones....Reception sucks to say the least!! 1-2 bars outside rear of house if standing in a certain 2 ft. circle...Mounted this to roof vent then ran cable down inside interior wall set base unit on TV cabinet and WOW....now I get 2-5 bars inside house....had no bars before...this product works...
