Poorly packed for shipping

I purchased this as a gift for my young grandson. I haven't had time to test it out, but I did set it up so when he unwraps it, it will be ready to go.
My complaint is about the terrible packing job done to ship this. There is no original box. The netbook was in a plastic bag and a poor attempt at using foam to hold it in place in an oversized box was unsatisfactory. The unit was loose inside and I'm sure was moving around within the box during shipment.
I'm sure a 10 year old boy will be thrilled regardless, but I'm extremely disappointed.
I will NOT purchase another Radio Shack refurbished item. I expected a little wear, but this exceeded my expectations in that regard.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
