Comments about AUVIO® FM Transmitter Dongle w/ OS 3.0:

I commute 30 miles each way to campus and back and wanted to play my ipod and got the auvio wireless transmitter. Don't waste your money!! It's finicky and at the slightest bump it goes from music to static. I never want to buy this brand again and I wish places wouldn't sell junk like this! Boo radio shack I'm taking it back.

    Works fine and worth it

Comments about AUVIO® FM Transmitter Dongle w/ OS 3.0:

I drive a 2006 Lexus with no auxiliary input, and no functioning Bluetooth for streaming music. I have spent over $80.00 on cassette adapters and none of them worked well. Between the auto eject and tape gears grinding I could take no more (turning up the volume to mask all the tape grinding noise did not work). The auto eject was totally frustrating with the tape constantly popping out. And believe me I have taken apart the cassette adapters to remove parts as recommended by many to no avail. Thank goodness for this device. For my car I no longer have to deal with the tape player (which I now think is broken). The transmitter works well on 107.9 FM and you do need to strategically place your iPhone and transmitter for best reception. Works well right under clunky antenna box in 2006 Lexus by rear view mirror. There are patches of spotty reception but otherwise well worth the money.

Comments about AUVIO® FM Transmitter Dongle w/ OS 3.0:

I work at Radio Shack and have sold lots of these. I'm sorry if I sold one to you. It's junk.
It transmits about as well as any other FM transmitter I've tried, but it only worked well for about three weeks. After that, it would work for about ten minutes of driving and start to experience increasing amounts of radio static.
I threw it out the window and I'll never charge another customer fifty big ones for that barely functioning garbage. Give me something better to sell, Radio Shack!

Comments about AUVIO® FM Transmitter Dongle w/ OS 3.0:

The interference is awful and annoying., I tried so many different stations and it just does not produce clear sounds, or it does not recognize the I phone. Which it will clearly say when you plug it in. Very disappointing. The sales guy at radio shack assured me this would work:( well it doesn't.

Comments about AUVIO® FM Transmitter Dongle w/ OS 3.0:

I use it with an IPOD nano, place it next to any radio, and my music plays. Sometimes it also can broadcast to a radio 20 ft away in another office. I toss it in the ashtray or console in my truck and the tunes play. I place it next to an old boombox on a job site and it plays just fine, but outdoors I can't recharge the ipod, it needs a usb or auto charge. I would buy again.

Bought this for a present. Did not work good enough to even get it out of the box. Very disappointed in this product. Returning to the store. Looking for a better, less hands on Transmitter. You have to constantly change channels to keep a signal and it is not safe while driving...Would not recommend
