Enter the world of robotics.
Learn about electronics, mechanics and programming with the Arduino Robot. Designed in collaboration with Complubot, 4-time world champion in robocup junior robotics soccer, the Arduino robot is a self-contained platform that allows you to build an interactive machine to explore the world. This tiny computer on wheels can be hacked to perform all sorts of tasks. It arrives fully assembled and nearly ready to run with no soldering required. Just plug in the color LCD screen, install the batteries, launch the Arduino IDE and upload the example code over the USB cable. The robot comes with a number of integrated inputs: two potentiometers, five buttons, a digital compass, five floor sensors and an SD card reader. It also has a speaker, two motors, a color LCD screen and plenty of prototyping space and TinkerKit connectors for expansion. As you learn more, you can modify its software and even add your own hardware on top of it.

As always with Arduino, every element of the platform – hardware, software and documentation – is freely available and open-source. This means you can learn exactly how it's made and use its design as the starting point for your own robots. The Arduino Robot is the result of the collective effort from an international team looking at how science can be made fun to learn. Arduino is now on wheels, come take a ride!
